End of Term Celebration Assembly

21st December 2018

As the term comes to an end we enjoyed a very special celebration assembly. We had our most regular readers from each class recognised for all their hard work by choosing a lovely book to take home.  It is great to see so many children reading regularly at home, thank you to all the parents and carers who help and support this.

Also, seven children were recognised as our Value Champions. There have been 4 core values so far this school year, courage, respect, responsibility and peace, the champions were chosen for consistently demonstrating these values in everything that they do.

At this assembly we sadly said good bye to Miss Rollason, she is leaving Woodfield to return to her home town in Cornwall. Miss Rollason has done lots for all the children at Woodfield and we will be sad to see her leave. We wish her lots of luck for the future.

The grand finale to the assembly this term was the staff's rendition of Christmas Baby Shark, the children loved it and then spent most of the day singing it back to the adults! "Santa Shark, ho ho ho ho ho ho!"
