Final Week of Term

20th December 2019

Christmas Dinner -

What a scrumptious time! The children and staff enjoyed a delicious Christmas lunch together this week.  Sian and Kelly did a fantastic job and the food and festivities were brilliant.  We also need to thank Sian's family who came to make the meal even more memorable for the children.

Christmas Fair -

The Christmas Fair was really successful raising lots of money for the School Fund.  Each classes had a stall with games for the children and their families to play and there was a great raffle with lots of super prizes.  The Friends of Woodfield have been busy this term raising money to help pay for the Theatre trip that is happening in January and the money raised at the fair will go toward this.  A big thank you to everyone who helped and to everyone who came along and made the event such a success.

End of term assembly -

The autumn term has been very busy and very successful and it was ended with a wonderful prize giving assembly.  Each teacher chose a pupil who has consistently demonstrated the core values this term to win the book voucher and chocolates. Prizes were also given to the the children who were the most regular readers at home this term.  Well done to all of the prize winners.  Sadly, we also said a few goodbyes to some members of staff who are moving on to new jobs, we wish Miss Allen and Mrs Roberts lots of luck.  We also said a temporary goodbye to Miss Bond who is on secondment until the summer.
