Year 5 and Year 6 showing Cooperation

20th March 2019

This afternoon, Y5 and Y6  were set a  challenge to build a bridge which was self- standing and would support the weight of a small, toy car. The groups were only allowed a small amount of time to talk and plan their ideas before they completed the task. To add to the challenge, the children were asked to complete the task in silence. It was fascinating to watch the non-verbal communication going on between the children. Everyone made good use of  their cooperation and oracy skills to complete the challenge.

The year five and six children worked together and made their mother's day cards.
