Welcome to Year 6! Our team consists of Miss Littler, Miss Gray, (Class Teachers), Miss Cox (Class PPA Cover Teacher), Mrs Bellerby & Mrs Butterworth (Class Teaching Assistants).

Over the year, we will be covering a variety of topics, including 'World War II' in History, 'Evolution and inheritance' and 'Looking after our environment' in Geography.

This term we are reading two World War stories 'Friend or Foe' by Michael Morpurgo and then moving onto 'The amazing story of Adolphus Tips' again by Michael Morpurgo and set in Slapton, Devon. We will have a selection of texts to choose from which are taken from the 'Year 6: 50 Recommended Reads' as chosen by Books for Topics.
